Carroll to make FR3.5 debut in Hungary

Former A1 GP champion and GP2 race winner Adam Carroll is set to make his Formula Renault 3.5 debut at the Hungaroring this weekend. The Northern Irish racer will drive for P1 Motorsport in place of Austrian Walter Grubmuller, who sustained a back injury in a qualifying accident at the Nurburgring on June 19th. Carroll has strong links to the Norfolk-based team, having finished runner-up to Nelsinho Piquet in a P1-engineered car in the 2004 British Formula 3 championship.
