2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe - Click above for high-res image gallery
We've got a soft spot in our hearts for anything AMG, and the all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe is certainly no exception. The angst-ridden two-door snarls angrily courtesy of its 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, churning out 451 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque, mated to a quick-shifting seven-speed automatic transmission. Spend some extra dough and you can equip the C63 coupe with the AMG Development Package that raises output to 481 horsepower and will have the coupe scooting from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.3 seconds.
Your eyes do not deceive you, this Mercedes is a visual stunner. The low-profile and twin-domed hood handle the aggressive looks topside while the titanium gray 19-inch wheels keep things menacing down low. This coupe is a looker on the inside too, thanks to the new AMG sport seats fitted with a new head restraint system and breathable fibers.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe is the Teutonic two-door of our dreams. It's fast as hell, sexy as hell and make noises that were probably sound-tested in the devil's own studio. Start saving your paychecks - it hits dealer showrooms in September. See the complete details in the press release after the break.
